For the first time since its inception,
the INSSA Late Models will head east……to the high banked super
oval at Montana Raceway Park (MRP) in Kalispell.
The Kokanee Battle of the Borders: Montana
vs. Idaho will feature INSSA drivers competing against local
late model drivers Bodie Morton, Mark Owens, Agni Howell and
Rocky Erickson just to name a few. Several Canadian drivers are
also expected to make the trip south from British Columbia.
While many of the Montana racers have
raced at State Line Speedway at INSSA events or the Idaho 200
events held in August, only a handful of the Washington and
Idaho drivers have previously made the trip to Montana. “We are
all looking forward to this weekend,” noted Dave Garber, 2007
INSSA defending champion. I’ve raced there many times in the
past and have always had good experiences. I think everyone
will enjoy this event and hope we can make it an annual stop on
our schedule.
Garber holds the top spot in the points
heading to Montana with Bill Belton, Rusty Webb and Corey Allard
following close behind. For additional information
