Allard Looking for First Win

While Corey Allard is a relative newcomer to late model racing in the northwest, the 24 year old driver of the KBM Enterprises, Inc. Monte Carlo is showing his strength and leaving a mark in the Inland Northwest Super Stock Association (INSSA).  Allard, who took over driving duties from his father Brad in 2006, just came off an impressive run at Montana Raceway Park (MRP).  Marking his first run at the high banked super oval in Kalispell, Allard posted the fastest time of the INSSA regulars in attendance, third quick overall of the 26 entries, and was a serious threat during the race.  Allard, who was runner up in the 2007 INSSA standings has been knocking on the door for a win for some time; look for 2008 to be the year he gets it.

INSSA heads back to State Line Speedway this weekend for race #3.  Defending champion, Dave Garber, started the season where he left off last year and leads the point standings over Allard, Rusty Webb and Andy Brown.  Fresh off a win at MRP, Garber looks to continue his streak.

Late Model 4’s, Early Stocks and Hobby Stocks round out the ticket.  Qualifying at 6:00, racing at 7:30.
