Garber Leads INSSA Points
Spokane, WA (May, 2007) – The Inland
Northwest Super Stock Association returns to take on the
high-banked half-mile super oval at Spokane Raceway Park this
weekend. Dave Garber, current INSSA point’s leader, is looking
to gain some ground on runner-up, Kevin Richards. Richards,
having other racing commitments this weekend, will not be at SRP.
Garber, who leads the points chase for
the first time in the series, will still have some tough
competition though, not only from INSSA regulars like Jeff
Fenton, Corey Allard and Jeff Little, but also from ARCA West
Late Model Challenge Series regulars, Shelby Thompson and
Christian Roeder. Thompson & Roeder have both raced at SRP
before, so expect some great racing action.
The Limited Late Model Racing Series (LLMRS)
and the compacts are also on the schedule. The LLMRS, based on
the western side of the state, will be at SRP for the first
time. An estimated 14 cars are expected. Qualifying starts at
6:00pm and racing at 7:00.
